Canonical reverse-use authority · Ver.1.09

Resources, Materials & Item Uses

Many materials have uses far beyond their sell price. Wood, Ore, hunting materials, livestock products and gathered resources can feed story progression, Shrine repairs, Buildings, Tool upgrades, Processing, Chief Deliveries, Requests and Furniture crafting. Search an item to see what currently uses it before deciding whether to sell it.

How this authority is different

Catalog records identity; Resources records consequences

Catalog answers what an item is, whether it is registered and where it is obtained. This page answers what uses it, what it becomes and which progression targets depend on it.

Direct Uses

A direct relation means the item is an explicit input in a shared Building, Tool Upgrade, Furnace, Processing, Cooking, Delivery, Request, Shrine, Helping, Story or Gift record.

Processing Chains / Indirect Uses

A chain is kept separate from a direct recipe. For example, Wood can become Charcoal, and Charcoal can later be used as Furnace fuel. Wood is not mislabeled as a direct Ingot input.

1 · Search any item or target

Item → uses and target → materials in one database

Try Wood, Greenhouse, Copper Ingot, Bird Bath or Mining. Search covers item IDs, source labels, target labels and category-level eligibility.

477 of 477 records · search matches item, source, target and category labels.

Showing the first 160 matches. Narrow the search to inspect a specific target or item.

2 · High-value groups

Start with the materials that gate the most systems

These server-rendered summaries are derived from the same graph used by the browser.

3 · Canonical anchors

Wood, ores, fuel, glass and stone remain distinct IDs

Raw materials and processed materials are never merged. Null values remain null instead of being guessed.

Wood anchor: the repository Trees authority supplies Wood's ¥3 base sell value, but utility is graph-based. The current normalized anchor includes 10 direct uses and 9 dependency edges. Story, Helping or Shrine relations remain absent from this count when the shared source has no stable item ID; they are not invented from the external AppMedia list.

4 · Deterministic chains

Raw → processed → downstream

Only exact shared ratios become derived minimums. Repeatable recipes, optional targets and alternative fuel choices are not summed into a lifetime requirement.

Greenhouse Glass

The shared Greenhouse construction record needs Glass Rod ×150. The shared Furnace record converts Glass Fragment ×5 → Glass Rod ×1. Therefore the exact derived minimum is Glass Fragment ×750, before the separate Coal or Charcoal fuel choice.

Greenhouse unlock authority →

Ore and fuel

Copper, Iron, Gold and Meteorite Ore each convert through the Furnace at the shared 5-to-1 ratio. Each cycle also needs Coal ×1 or Charcoal ×1. Coal and Charcoal are alternatives, not one merged material.

5 · Keep or sell

Transparent labels, not subjective rankings

Sell value and utility are separate. A low price never makes an item safe to sell, and an unknown graph never becomes sell advice.

Keep

126

A hard progression gate exists.

Keep Some

50

Several normalized repeatable or downstream uses exist.

Situational

36

A use exists, but it is optional or limited.

Mostly Sellable

0

Only when the graph is complete and no important use exists.

Unknown

265

Coverage is incomplete; do not treat it as sell-safe.

The static site cannot know which Shrine repairs, Buildings, deliveries or Tool Upgrades you personally completed. “Progression uses exist” describes canonical data, not your current save state.

6 · Specialist authorities

Follow the owner for full mechanics

Resources provides reverse lookup and source summaries; each specialist guide remains authoritative for its own complete system.

7 · Troubleshooting and FAQ

Common material questions

Use the shared record boundaries when a guide does not show a fixed quantity.

What materials should I keep?

Keep items marked Keep or Keep Some until their progression and repeatable uses are complete. Unknown-use items are not treated as safe to sell.

What is Wood used for?

The current shared graph links Wood to the Charcoal Kiln, Buildings and House renovations, plus any normalized story, Helping, cooking, processing and gift relations. Check the Wood record rather than judging it from price.

Is Coal the same as Charcoal?

No. Coal is a mining/fuel item and Charcoal is a separate processed item made from compatible wood materials. Both are alternative Furnace fuels.

How do I get Glass Rods for the Greenhouse?

The shared Buildings and Furnace records require 150 Glass Rods for the Greenhouse and 5 Glass Fragments per Glass Rod, so the deterministic minimum is 750 Glass Fragments, plus one Coal or Charcoal per Furnace cycle. This is labeled as a derived minimum.

Does a Request mean I must reserve a fixed quantity?

No. Observed Requests and category eligibility are repeatable or probabilistic. A quantity is shown only when the canonical record supplies one; otherwise it stays unknown.

Do future September 29 recipes affect this database?

No. The live default is Ver.1.09 on September 16, 2026. Future and unresolved mode/postgame relations stay outside current retention and fixed-total calculations.
