Farm Expansion & Farmland Plots Guide
The current version has a starting garden plus two purchasable plots. Buy Plot 2 for ¥5,000 and Plot 3 for ¥20,000 at the signed garden gates. A separate official Farmland Expansion feature is scheduled for September 29, 2026, but its future price, dimensions and final plot count are not announced.
Current answer: three plots are available now. Both paid expansions together cost ¥25,000. Future farmland is tracked separately and is not part of that total.

How to expand the farm
The current purchase happens at the garden entrance. It is not a Building construction order or a material recipe.

Find the signed gate
Search the garden near the house for the signed iron fence or gate.

Interact with the sign
Read the sign to see the payment for that expansion location.

Pay when ready
Pay the displayed amount to open the land, then repeat at the next signed gate for the second expansion.
No fixed current story chapter, season, calendar date, material bundle, construction time or refund rule is documented in the checked expansion sources.

Starting garden
Plot 1
The initial area has an irregular shape. It works well for early crops, animals and machines, and can later be repurposed for livestock or buildings when wider sprinkler grids move elsewhere.

Plot 2
The first added plot is documented as 29 × 27 tiles. Its cleaner footprint makes it a strong candidate for regular crop rows, 5 × 5 Normal Sprinkler planning and paddy or orchard edges.
Second purchase · ¥20,000
Plot 3
The second added plot in the current sequence. It is useful for larger-scale crop, orchard or automation planning, but its exact dimensions and full usable geometry are not verified here.

- You need more crop, paddy, orchard or machine space.
- Your current tools can make enough of the new area productive.

- Tree trunks or weeds will still block the paid area.
- The payment would remove the cash needed for current production.
- You are buying future capacity without an immediate use for it.
The source warns that starting tools may leave trunks and weeds in new land, but it does not establish a universal tool-tier matrix. Check the Tool Upgrades guide against the obstacle in your game.

What to do with the extra space
Expansion adds room. It does not replace the guides that own each farming system.
Sprinkler grids and crops
Use Best Farm Layout for Plot 1 to 3 planning, Sprinklers for radius and recipes, and Farming for crop rules.
Trees and structures
Use Fruit Trees and Resource Trees for planting and harvest rules. Use Buildings for construction data and Building Placement for footprints and placement boundaries. A Greenhouse, fish pond or house renovation is not counted as another current farm plot.

Farmland Expansion update
As of September 14, 2026, the official Farmland Expansion feature is announced but not live. Do not add its future land to the current three-plot total or treat its price, location or dimensions as known.
